Should you sell and then buy, or should you buy and then sell? It can be tricky to time a sale and a purchase optimally. However, there are options for overcoming potential timing issues. For example, one common scenario for those downsizing is finding the ideal property before the original home is sold. In this case, you might not have the funds ready to make a quick purchase before another buyer does. In this case, bridging finance could offer the right solution.

Terms and Conditions – LJ Hooker Spring Competition 2026

 

1. Promoter

  • This Property Appraisal landing page is operated by Jen Wardell, Licensed Real Estate Agent, LJ Hooker Darwin & Palmerston.

  • The LJ Hooker Spring Competition 2026 is promoted and conducted by LJ Hooker Franchising Pty Limited (ABN 61 003 890 453) of Level 29, 85 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who own at least one residential property in Australia.

  • Employees of LJ Hooker Franchising Pty Limited, LJ Hooker franchisees (including LJ Hooker Darwin & Palmerston), their immediate families and associated companies are not eligible to enter.

 

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, participants must:

  • Only one (1) entry per residential property will be accepted.

  • Entries are only valid once the appraisal has been completed.

 

4. Prize

  • Eligible participants will automatically receive one entry into the draw for the following prizes:

    • July Prize: LG CordZero® Auto Emptying Handstick with Dual Floor Max Nozzle (RRP $1,399)

    • August Prize: LG WashTower™ 12/10kg Stacked Washer Dryer (Black) (RRP $3,999)

    • September Prize: LG Gram 17" Laptop (RRP $4,299)

    • October Prize: LG French Door InstaView™ Refrigerator (RRP $5,499)

    • Grand Prize: LG 100" Micro RGB evo AI Smart TV (RRP $17,999)

  • Total Prize Pool Value: $33,195 (RRP).

  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

 

5. Competition Period

  • The competition opens at 9:00am AEST on 1 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 30 November 2026.

 

6. Prize Draw Dates

  • July Draw: Entries close 31 July 2026 – Draw held 10 August 2026

  • August Draw: Entries close 31 August 2026 – Draw held 10 September 2026

  • September Draw: Entries close 30 September 2026 – Draw held 9 October 2026

  • October Draw: Entries close 31 October 2026 – Draw held 10 November 2026

  • Grand Prize Draw: Entries close 30 November 2026 – Draw held 10 December 2026.

 

7. Draw & Winner Notification

  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for each draw.

  • Winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the relevant draw.

  • Winners must claim their prize within fourteen (14) days of notification.

  • Winner details may be published on the LJ Hooker website in accordance with the official competition Terms & Conditions.

 

8. Unclaimed Prize

  • If a prize is not claimed within the required timeframe, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted approximately thirty (30) days after the original draw in accordance with the official LJ Hooker Spring Competition Terms & Conditions.

 

9. Privacy

  • By submitting a property appraisal request, participants agree that their personal information may be collected by Jen Wardell and LJ Hooker Darwin & Palmerston for the purpose of arranging the appraisal.

  • Information relating to the competition will be managed by LJ Hooker Franchising Pty Limited in accordance with the LJ Hooker Privacy Policy.

 

10. General Conditions

  • The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of entrants.

  • Any attempt to tamper with the entry process or submit an invalid entry may result in disqualification.

  • The promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition where required and in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of the official LJ Hooker Spring Competition 2026 Terms & Conditions.
